Tuesday, June 30, 2015. This post is so overdue. Our youngest son, Richard Leif Erickson, graduated from Bemidji High School at the end of May 2015. Leif passed his Certified Nurses Assistant exam the Monday after graduation. He also received his certificate for Personal Care Attendant on June 29th. He plans to pursue a Registered Nurse degree. We are so PROUD of him! Here he is shown with the quilt the ladies of our church made for him.

Friday, November 22, 2013. My definition of running amok is when you throw off all resistant, shackles and go a bit crazy. I have had a few false starts to what critters to keep. I have stuck to my Lionhead rabbits.

This is the Scottish judge from the Shetland Islands looking at my yearling ewe, Jasmine. Then she tried to leave. It looks to me like I was trying to show her the ribbon that she had won. I was so happy with my sheep that day.

We started our homesteading odyssey more than 35 years ago with the desire to live more simply, sustainably and in harmony with natural world around us.
